N-dimensional Cube Projection

Version 1.2

This is just an experiment in java programming, so it is not really exciting or fun or anything. Choose a dimension (a small one to start with) and a colour rule and wait for the patten to appear.

This latest version (27/2/97) now caches the images for a colour rule. Each image is drawn in a separate thread.

This little java applet just draws a 2 dimensional projection of an N dimensional cube. The controls allow you to choose how the lines will be coloured, and how many dimensions to draw.

To see the patterns become animated, choose a colour rule and select each dimension in turn. Then once all the pictures have been drawm, select the dimension with up and down arrows to cycle through the pictures. The source.
